Yesterday I spent a little time figuring out how to improve some of the graphics settings of my GPU and monitor, and was excited to try them out on a game like Helldivers or Elden Ring.

Instead of growing out of my “why” phase it got worse to a fault

I became an engineer less because of money or anything like that and more because I have a neurotic obsession with understanding how any given thing works on a fundamental level

Been going to movies a little more lately and in particular the AMC I go to seems like it used to be a bigger location but these days, it’s clearly geared down a lot.

So actually I think you’re right but that also maybe points to the how these social gender affirmations can be done positively or negatively. Lately (in the last decade) women to me seem better about doing positive affirmation towards each other and men seem to do more negative affirmation?

Saw a post a month or two ago about how MRA types complain when women do misandry, but if you actually pay attention it’s other men who are doing it far more and are ways that very negatively affect men. And it kinda made me thunk
