A good few people told me at Thought Bubble how much they’ve enjoyed Red Dragon. Nice to hear as it felt a bit of a risky swing going in.

Alan Sharp wrote the novelisation of his screenplay for Night Moves as a $1.25 tie-in but holy shit, the prose here. Pretty intimidating when a writer can shift between forms and be extraordinarily good at both.

Need to track down his other novels.

Yes, yes, with the Watchmen and the V For Vendetta and the Killing Joke and all (makes furious hand gestures in air) *that* but I'm not convinced Alan Moore ever wrote a better page than this.

Jesus, been almost ten years since Snow Blind came out.
Still very proud of this book, even if there’s a few things I’d change (especially one bit of awful dialogue…)

Geoff Barrow and Marc Bessant off Game both grew up reading 2000AD. There’s a lot of that in there somewhere.
