Its not only death versus life. I know someone who had measles aged 3 and became deaf as a result (this dates to before the vaccine was introduced).

We will still know that the Jews are murdering the Palestinians; it just makes bsky look complicit.

Thread: The story of the mighty runner Pheidippides dates back to the 5th century BCE Herodotus, who tells us that this incredible athlete ran all the way from Athens to Sparta and back again, a distance of just over 300 miles.

We may be at cross purposes, I was just curious about Shackleton's choice of words.

Shackleton's "Imperial Trans-Arctic Expedition" was to the Southern Pole. These days we spend a little bit of ink saying Antarctica in order to create the distinction with the Northern Pole, but Shackleton didn't need to bother. I wonder when that changed?

Its even worse than that. If you actually look at the Equalities Act, it refers to nine protected characteristics, and one of them is "having a gender recognition certificate". The Equalities Act is actively protecting many trans women.

Let your choristers connect with the words as well as the music this Holy Week with our helpful (and obviously oh so very cool) translation of The Reproaches.

If you're like, over 30, good luck.

"A dog walks into a tavern and says, "I cant see a thing, I'll open this"."

Insert whatever you think is funny into "this".

Older than anything Greek by at least 1,000 years.

This also causes a conflict between the desire for authenticity and feeling like I have to conform to be safe and get love.

I don't think that this can be reversed.

Even if the tariffs were removed tomorrow, you couldn't expect that the trade deal you signed with the US would last longer than four years.

Its about trust, and when that's gone, its gone.

โ€œIn the eighteenth century, people believed cheese could cure leprosy.โ€

I suspect Iโ€™m not going to change a lot of minds on this one, but one thing Iโ€™ve thought about a lot is how we discuss historical โ€˜beliefsโ€™ like this more carefully. (1/n)

I prefer Aristotle to Newton, tbh. Its more relatable outside the world of stones and apples.
