I’d be amazed if Iran feel like that is the full reprisal. I suspect Iran will now rebuild their nuclear program having shifted their enrichment stores before the strikes on fordow. Playing the long game, Trump just strengthened their resolve.

A fantastic turn out for the hui for health public meeting last night. Heart wrenching accounts of our health practitioners going above and beyond and not receiving the support they deserve. It is an indictment on all of us that we’ve collectively let it get so dire.

Train wreak rnz interview with Mark Mitchell. He never knows his own numbers and says they don’t know but ‘hopes’ tougher sentences will mean a reduction in serious crime, despite numbers saying the opposite.

After a number of amendments and votes it was suggested we take a short adjournment to catch our breaths, chair declined and put the vote. There was confusion and the vote was lost.

Was it you Simon who predicted there would be a fall out between the two months ago? I remember one commentator suggesting it would be likely as is the way with so many associated with Trump.

Whangārei District Council failed to pass a resolution on annual plan deliberations so currently don’t have an annual plan.

An emergency meeting has been called for next Tuesday 8.30am to go over it all again

Sea level will rise fast even if we limit global warming to 1.5°C Satellite observations show the ice sheets are melting faster than expected, and slowing sea level rise to a manageable rate would require lowering the global temperature below the current level
