Close range photo of the wooden pier with a white cloud sky overhead and a few people in the distance. In Sopot, GdaΕsk, Europeβs longest wooden pier.
Photo shows a sea bird looking directly to us, sitting on a white wooden fence top with some sand and the Baltic Sea behind it. Most of the picture shows the large white clouds and a small area of pale blue sky above a gap in the cloud.
The wooden pier in setting sunlight casting a shadow of the fence on to the wooden pier. The sky is darker with more space between clouds allowing the golden sunlight to be seen reflected off the clouds and the ground.
A clear glass on a saucer. Glass is full of amber coloured tea filled with slices of ginger, lemon, blood oranges and a sprig of rosemary.
Preparing to go back to work after 2 weeks leave and reflecting on what I take forward with me.
1. Down time is vital.
2. Big skies are therapeutic.
3. Experiences will always trump βstuffβ.
4. Polish Winter Teas should be served everywhere!
Thank you GdaΕsk β€οΈ

A great example of an attentive adult modelling communication. Natural, unhurried & without any expectation to replicate fully.
If you are teaching #communication & language to children who will not speak, our examples must also be natural, unhurried with attention to all their efforts to return.

An important piece of research. With around 1 in 3 children in care living within a kinship arrangement, school staff, post-school planning teams, and health partners are likely to find this research a helpful read.

I just scrolled #EduSky for a few minutes and counted how many images used alt text vs those that did not.
Only 17 images had alt text whereas 36 did not. This means our community is not accessible to blind users or others who use screen readers.
We have a lot of room for improvement. π§΅
