There is a coordinated bot response on FB. I'm seeing 100s of people across every news site responding the same thing to reporting: Why are 42 million people on SNAP? or Why do 42 million people receive benefits? For those working, it's an easy answer, greedy corporations don't pay a living wage.

Hold the line & stay strong. Americans need health insurance subsidies to afford healthcare. This administration is using SNAP benefits to try to control congress, don't fall for that tactic.

A country that is sick, hungry, and discouraged is easier to control, hold the line.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Food stamp recipients include people that work for greedy corporations like Amazon, Walmart, and fast food restaurants that don't pay them enough so they have to depend upon government services, our veterans, active duty military, seniors, and children. These people are just ignorant and hateful.

Or are our military and those employed by greedy corporations like Amazon, FedEx, DollarTree, Fast Food, and Walmart that don't pay them enough to survive so they have to rely on government benefits.

SNAP benefits have a trickle down effect on other businesses. People unable to buy will reduce the income at grocery stores & farmer's markets. Those same places are more likely to suffer financial hardship as income decreases. Employees will suffer lost jobs & wages. It's not only about food.

It may be in the fine print but I don't see how that's legally viable.

Is there some form of appeal? This seems so totally outrageous!
