Ohhhhhhkay. I just finished season 2 episode 6 and it’s not feeling so fun anymore 😬

Of course, the show itself is incredibly period-inaccurate in soooo many ways. It’s like a fun Reign-meets-1870s that feels more fantasy than period, but I can look past that. I’ll enjoy the gorgeous gowns and totally wild behavior. But these girls sabotaging their own lives has me cringing.

I started watching the new Buccaneers on a whim & damn. These women always choose wrong. They find sweet men who love them, but want the unattainable one. I’m glad society stopped forcing women to marry so young. If I’d married the one I chose at 18, I’d have chosen wrong too.
