Exactly! I have been saying this for months. Even language around number of detainees within X distance of a school, or house, can limit the ability for camps and private prisons to be built. I worry about the large mill and parking lot areas in my town and wishy-washy local police stance.

I was talking to Seth Moulton's staff about that this week with regard to the Burlington ICE office. One thing they said was that closing an existing facility is really hard but preventing a new one from opening is comparatively easier. We have to stop these camps now while we have the chance.

My windows look the same. It's hard to tell how much has fallen between the snow stuck to the window screen and the drifts. I really SHOULD get up the underlying slushy layer but am dreading going out there.
