The first step toward abolishing ICE is impeaching Trump. I can't think of a single historical example of a paramilitary or secret police force being dismantled before the ouster of the tyrant commanding them. Maybe it's happened, but let's just say it's not the natural order of operations.

I think all these men who benefited financially from proximity to Epstein POST CONVICTION OF PEDOPHILIA should have to pay reparations to his victims, whether they abused women and children or not.

Big US sports events have a ton of Trump-friendly corporate sponsors. They are also flag-waving, often militaristic spectacles. They also have substantial economic impact. Boycott! And tie the boycott to impeachment demands.

Even in Elon Musk’s denial of his involvement with Epstein—which directly contradicts the available evidence—the world’s richest man is still claiming he knew all about “pedo island” and didn’t do anything to stop it. Even in their fantasies of innocence they’re still directly enabling child abuse

Democrats have to provide support before they will do that. Support means universal backing of impeachment for Trump and the full cabinet. There are Rs who will flip, especially since a few voted for impeachment/removal once already. But they won’t risk it if they’re not sure Dems will back it up.

What does the opposite of appeasement look like? Well, it starts with a full-court press on impeachment/removal—totally delegitimizing the regime and demanding immediate change. That‘s a nonviolent tactic Dems haven’t come close to trying and media/consultants aren’t even discussing.
