A ★★ review of 50 First Dates (2004) I would have actually enjoyed this movie if it weren't for the abomination that was Rob Schneider. Might be worth it just for Sean Astin.

I could be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure they tore down the LotR set after filming but when they rebuilt it for the Hobbit they left up parts of Hobbiton which can now be visited in New Zealand. Definitely neat that you spotted that they were different sets based on the joinery though!

I would first grab some sandpaper and rough up the wedge as well as the bed that the blade sits against. This will increase the friction between the blade and the plane/wedge.

I'm new to the concept of rake and splay. Exhibit A: this goofiness. Best way to learn is to mess it up the first time.
