I remember having a UBI. It was called “living with my parents,” and I had all my food/shelter needs covered, plus free access to a (shared) TV, music, books, a library card, cars I could borrow and more.

I still worked drudge jobs, because I wanted to buy lots of comics and take girls to movies.

I was worried my kids would rely on AI as a shortcut but they hate it. They use "AI" to mean stupid or cheap ("aimbot" means good). I tried to say AI is helpful for some things and my daughter said "yeah, for making you stupid." This is how they talked about Drake after "Not Like Us" came out

No, they voted as did I. I’m not sure “refuses to use generative AI” and “doesn’t believe in civic duties” are the match you think they are. You’re lashing out at strangers because I said that labor theft is wrong. Take a step back and think about that maybe?

I agree that he’s a momentary ally but that doesn’t mean we have to treat him as anything but (in my opinion obviously)

People seem to have fun with me but my friends also don’t sacrifice their ethics for the funny picture machine so maybe they’re biased.
