This is so frustrating. Another example of resistance efforts weakening because people on the same side argue about who's more virtuous or who's fighting harder.

Like I think it stems from people being passionate but I have no idea how to quell the damage it does.

The situation at the NIH and for all biomedical and cancer cure research in the United States is MUCH MUCH WORSE than you realize.

If AOC or someone like her started a progressive party that ran on things like universal healthcare, UBI, protections for immigrants and LGBTQIA people, antiracism, etc., I (and I imagine many others) would gleefully organize and vote for that party, like I think it might actually work

Things like "apparently unconstitutional," "questionable in legality," or "allegedly autocratic" could get closer imo.

There are quite a few protests all over, but aren't getting as much media coverage for obvious reasons.

Also, they usually stay more tame here since US police are relatively quick to violence.

As for the democrats, a few are speaking out and helping organize action. Most are cowards.
