She saw family in Lebanon. Now this Brown Medicine doctor is being held at Logan for deportation. Dr. Rasha Alawieh flew into Logan Airport Thursday after visiting family in Lebanon. She's being detained now at Logan without legal counsel.

They're trying to deport my colleague from the med school and holding her without counsel. She was coming back from a visit to her family. If there are ways to help I'll let you know. www.providencejournal.com/story/news/l...

Kate’s update from 10am was basically that nobody knows if this doctor is still at Logan or gone.

The Guardian is reporting that Trump is openly violating a court order, and has transferred multiple transgender women to men's facilities.

We know in Florida, transgender women are having their hair shorn, feminine items confiscated, and pulled off medication.

This is inhumane and illegal.

Trump administration moves to drop transgender discrimination cases The EEOC, citing executive orders targeting gender identity, is aiming to dismiss half a dozen cases, marking a reversal in U.S. civil rights enforcement.

The EEOC is dropping investigations of anti-trans discrimination, including "allegations that trans workers at Wendy’s were called 'it' as well as claims that employees at the Lush cosmetics chain were subjected to inappropriate touching and explicit comments about their genitalia."

I get it; you’re furious. You should be! And, a private queer-owned establishment that has nothing to do with the National Park Service isn’t going to be able to do anything about this website. When queer folks should be coming together, I’m not sure why you’d make them your target.

That’s my thinking, too.

I’m unclear…what bathrooms? this website belongs to and is updated by the National Park Service.

It seems very clear to me that whoever was tasked with updating this site wasn’t happy about doing it and deliberately (1) referred to trans women simply as women heart and (2) let other sentences obviously missing pieces.
