Such heroism! Fingers crossed that Mimi enjoys being an indoor, only cat.

My two rescue cats were to be kept indoors-only, and I’m a convert. Although cats will find a way - Jonesy managed to break her tail falling from the top shelf of a wardrobe.

Ogodz, the uncertainty…

That many pages of chats between a dozen of them over 7 or so months? Will they have time to take over anything?

Chatting about how wild it must feel to set fire to a big pile of _someone else’s money_ and realisation dawned.

…

That must be how Sam Altman feels EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Today’s audiobook: Agency. Reached the faux-cave former nightclub and wondering if William Gibson ever went to the Twisted Wheel in Carlisle…

Beginning to think we may have lucked out the day the guy came to swap our economy 7 meter for a smart one but couldn’t because there was no signal for it to do all its clever things.

This is also possible! It does seem to be harder and harder for people to get time off work these days, so it may be they just have a chaotic boss and are super-organised themselves…

This set of contradictions, though:

β€œexperts have said that _some towns may need to be abandoned_ as homes and businesses struggle to get insurance [...] Experts also say _London’s flood defences need to be updated urgently_ to protect the capital…”

RIP logic.

Catching up with another round of newsletters discussing OpenAI’s latest breathless announcements. Can we all agree the theftbros are sounding increasingly desperate and just ignore them?

Give us some insightful analysis of their environmental impact instead?

This is it, the most unhinged literary opinion. I will be adopting it as fact immediately.

I've been using it happily since last year with no coding skills whatsoever! First time I looked at it I couldn't see why anyone would use it for creative work, but the second time it just clicked. My setup is more basic, but Obsidian is incredibly flexible - there's usually a plugin >
