You know, I’m serious about this heralding the holidays, at least in this house. We’re doing Thanksgiving round #1 this week, and tomorrow, the actual USMC birthday, I’m decorating two holiday trees!

Today at the Christmas Market at the Czech Embassy (Embassy of Czechia, to be more clear), and this’ll be the first visit to an embassy whereupon I will not have to report it as foreign travel hohohoho hahhahahaha chortlechortle

Context: In my old life as a federal employee with a clearance, I would have to report attendance at any embassy events. When you live in/near DC, such events are fun, frequent and you’ll likely want to go.

When we moved out of DC in 2017, I thought we could always come back. I was probably wrong, we got priced out in the interim.

Well, FDA approval for cannabinoid drugs arguably flies directly in the face of Controlled Substances Act criteria, specifically for Schedule I drugs. Marijuana's classified as such on the basis of there being no current accepted medical or safe use. Soooo.
