Tickets are now available for Dream of Gerontius at All Saints Church, Leamington Spa on Saturday 12th April 2025 at 7:30PM www.ticketsource.co.uk/bhamfestchor...
It's always exciting to see parakeets on the bird feeder - even if I'm not sure if their spread over the UK is a good thing.

One of the surprising words the A1 suggested was 'humiliating'. Beside it was the quote 'some say it's music that imparts a grave humility.'
TRY AGAIN A1!
It's getting longer and longer!

Are you in Queensland? (My Mum was born in Tasmania, and I have many relatives there - but their climate doesn't fit your description!)
It's good to think of spring and blossom as we look out of the window and see snow!
20.11.2024 09:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oh yes, the blossoms in the orchards there are so lovely that they advertise a special blossom trail in the spring!
Having said that, the National Trust was donating blossom trees to recreate a ring of blossom around Birmingham last year (where I live).

I was going to send you the poster for the Leamington concert, but it looks as if you can't include images in replies.
Is this in Coventry? (I'm guessing from the 'three spires' in the name). We're doing Dream of Gerontius in Leamington next April.

Fun fact: If someone quotes a post of yours in a way that is unwelcome (as is commonplace on Twitter/X) there is a tool to combat the unwanted attention. Simply click the three dot menu on the quote post & click "Detach quote". This removes your post from their quote post. Useful to know, do share!
