No, that's not how generational wealth works. You're assuming that people stay in the same house and don't sell it at points in their lives. That's not how people live anymore. They buy, sell (generating wealth), buy again, etc. So, it's not an inheritance of a home that generates the wealth.

No, it's not. Ideally, people own the homes where they live because ownership creates generational wealth. Renting does not.
