I suspect you know this, but for clarity, any git repo is a jj repo, it's using git as a backend!

I've never seen the industry so reluctant to spend. I had a company with 9 figures (yes, in USD) in revenue turn down a low five figure quote for a custom solution that would be revenue generating.

The main issue is that you're asking a lot of projects that were using the defaults (i.e. the people that have been good citizens) to relinquish their inline blame, for a gain that seems like opinion, especially since any sort of reasonable prose guideline tends to hover around a 72ch (css) width

One of the biggest adjustments I see new leaders going through is the amount of context shifting.

It’s very frustrating! Where your work used to allow for flow state, you need to stay interrupt driven so your staff can stay focused.

Leaders should be helpers.

Ghostty has been my go-to for a good while, I feel it’s the nicest of the bunch on macOS. After having used alacritty, kitty, and wezterm at least.

That’s assuming it’s a difference they feel strong enough not to cave on.

My hot take is that if there is a single corporation so essential to national interests that the government allows its employees to exercise their Charter right to collective bargaining for 10 minutes before calling it illegal, then that company should be broken up.
