I was looking at followback networks a while ago, and following a bunch of hashtag resisters was a surefire was to attract accounts like that.

I haven’t gone back further to see if this holds up, but three of my most recent ten followers are clearly some kind of romance scam accounts.

I’ve seen other people mention this, and I haven’t been paying attention to my follower list, so maybe it’s been happening for a while.

Agree. If we’re talking retail, retail sucked 30 years ago, too: bad wages, no job security. Wages in inflation-adjusted dollars might be higher now in cities with higher minimum wage.

I call it Good Man(tm), sometimes modified as Good Black Man(tm) for my cultural milieu. But the constant bleating for and from Good Men is one side of the same sexist coin.

I'm thinking it would have benefitted from some more workshopping, especially with women (putting it lightly).
