I do have issues with the hdmi monitor on my 2019 Intel 16" MBP. No issues at all with the Dell, Lenovo, M1 MBA, M3 Pro MBP.

Should have listened a bit more. I care a lot about how things look. The display link isn't perfect, but I barely notice.

If you like the idea of multiple monitors, definitely give it a try. You can always return it.

@paris.nyc most docks with DisplayLink technology should work for dual monitors. I run triple 1440p monitors from my base model M1 MacBook Air with the Dell D6000 dock. It does require extra drivers to be downloaded and installed from display link and can only do 60Hz. amzn.com/dp/B071YTQBXM

Liquid glass is bad and should feel bad.

Any element of UI that can be glass should just be removed.
