Been along time since I’ve fancied picking a pencil up, but yesterday I thought I’d relax with some sketching. Bryan Ferry is cool as.

We’re in Bridlington today, dogsitting for Shell’s sister.
It’s an interesting place, everybody seems to walk the same way, a strange leaning gait. The antiques places are excellent though, and I found some good vinyl this morning.
Also, haddock and chips is bloody lovely here.

Just a heads up, I noticed they’ve made another video deconstructing ‘Enola Gay’ and it’s just as interesting!

I’m back and hunting bargains again! £1 find, love a bit of Meco!

Fantastic video! For such a simple song musically, the method of putting it together and getting that sound is far more in depth than most people think!

I decided my luggage tag is a little too passive aggressive so I will get a new one for next time. We’ve had this for years, and I guess it works as no one has taken my case yet 🤣

With the love of my life - she’s had a rough few months with some health scares so I’ve taken her away for a few days. So good to see her with her sparkle back ♥️

Kos is an absolute trove of ancient ruins. Such a beautiful and clean city.

Used my birthday voucher for the record shop and found two I wanted for a really fair price. 😊

Sadly can’t make it down this year, the price of an Airbnb for the holidays I’ve got meant it was cheaper to go abroad for longer. Crazy!

A rare Thursday night off so have been chilling out with some nice lights and sounds.
Just moving sliders and seeing what comes out, great fun.

My signed @sparksofficial.bsky.social CD arrived today! The album (which is excellent) *could* be the number one album this week. I’ve got 3 copies now including the lovely white label - I couldn’t make the listening party, but went in to my record store and they had a couple of copies left. HAPPY!

Our downstairs loo is one of my favourite decors in the house. It’s filling up with random frames we pick up at charity shops and put cool things in that we like or hold a meaning for us.

The C64 absolutely rocking out on this one

I feel like these are my top 3 Roxy Music albums - so I picked them up today. This weekend I’ve found 4 albums, 2 12” remixes and 15 singles for under £30! Can’t complain at that!

Mucho cheapo vinyl today at the car boot!

No faffing at all and it’s like a Commodore 64 at times 🤣 but some of the bass is soooo rubbery and fat I love it. Run through some effects and it’s actually really useful

I’ve got an old AMT 1/48 Ju88, although annoyingly I think one of the undercarriage doors is missing.

@dawse.bsky.social - they were flogging these off cheap online because the newer version came out, omg it’s almost identical. And comes with a mod grip yay!
I love how easy the 101 was to use and this is no different. I wasn’t even after one!

Been after this kit for years especially in this circa late 70’s box. I have quite a thing for the Ju188 after finding the photo of my grandad taking one apart in Germany. It’s a great kit, but I probably won’t build it as it’s all perfect and too nice for me to
spoil 🤣 one of my favourite artworks.

I’m ashamed to say it’s took me nearly 52 years to appreciate how actually awesome Roxy Music were.
So I picked these up today. Amazing!

Been after this for years, both mixes are perfect and of course Jewel just screams 80’s Channel 4 NFL coverage for me (not so much BBC rally coverage!)
Can’t wait to give this a spin!

Two little charity shop finds today, Roxy Music being timely as I had plunged down a rabbit hole just a few nights ago and realised how good they were throughout. Absolutely loving playing records at the moment.
