A comment on a cranberry sauce recipe reading, “I have a far more refined palette than the people I Thanksgiving with, so I’m forced to keep it simple lest it doesn’t get touched. I add some vanilla beans taken from one of my jars of extract and one slice of orange peel. A delicious happy medium, methinks. So simple!”
