Yes it is. Follow the thread. Criticism of Clinton and Harris as supporters of Israel has NOTHING to do with Republicans. Attempting to distract from that criticism by bringing up Republican support for Israel is *textbook* whataboutism. Address the criticism or don't.

Importantly, this wouldn't have passed without Dem support. There was enough of a split within Republican ranks that if Dems had voted against the bill it would've been doa. Giving Trump a blank check to warmonger *and* passing an anti-trans measure was a choice.

So being specific is unwise. That being the case, is this platform useful? I post a lot of sociopolitical shit here, often angry. But expecting people to DO anything based on those posts?. Especially if I don't offer SUGGESTIONS? Again, don't do that. Cuz cops. But just... (exasperated sigh) (shrug)

If the people you ostensibly need to reach are smart enough to figure out what actions you're dancing around suggesting, do they need you to suggest them? Who is the intended audience for those social media posts? I'm aware of the idea that law enforcement monitors social media. (cont)

The problem, for me, is that I think this is frankly shitty communication. If you are using social media to spread awareness and a message but you are unable to effectively do so because the platform could get you in trouble, why are you using that platform? (cont)
