One week later, I've now been bed-bound with #covid for longer than I was on the holiday I caught it on. My dog agrees that this seems like a crap deal.

Heatwaves also suck - it itches like crazy. But mine is a very prominent keloid scar, so is probably more exposed to contact and sweat than some.

Hang in there though - you've had major abdominal surgery, I was able to do things mostly normally by 3 months, but it took about 6 to fully recover.

I too am a gall bladder evicter. Mine was January 2020 (yeah, that year started even better for me than most). For me, the pain did diminish substantially, but direct impact or abraision to the scar area is still uncomfortable to this day - right where my dog loves to plant a paw. 🐾

When I caught #covid19 in 2022, i permanently lost 90% of my sense of smell.

When my partner caught it for the 2nd time last year, she came out of the other side with #LONGcovid, which incapacites her to this day.

Been to the northlands for a week, which was lovely. Unfortunately, on the return journey I picked up a hidden passenger. This was not worth returning to England for. Almost nothing was worth returning to for, with the outstanding exception of the happiness on my dog's face when we were reunited.
