Seeing people suggest the "solution" to porn legislation and censorship is instead just having parents control everything their children do in place of the state concern me a lot. Parents should not control what kids do. That's not their job. Their job is to fulfill kids' needs as dependents.

I think being a puritan and a prude is inherently a socially isolating experience. Inevitably you are not going to have the exact same delinations of what's "gross" or "impure" or "depraved" as your peers who are so litigious about knee-jerk morals, and it's just a matter of time before they learn.
