I agree with Sarah Pochin that there are certain groups of people who are grossly over-represented on TV. For instance, Reform MPs are constantly on the BBC News and Question Time despite making up less than 1% of the country's elected MPs. Something should be done.

So Zia Yusuf has declared Sarah Pochin a lovely and decent woman. Reality check: she isn't. She is a woman with a bitter and twisted mind, screwed up by associating with fascists like Nigel Farage. She is contemptable but perhaps really we should pity her.

Besides the blatant racism in Sarah Pochin's statement is the fact that she thinks TV adverts are a genuine reflection of life in Britain. Adverts are fantasy, intended to make people part with their money. They aim at specific demographics. The only colour they care about is the colour of money.
