Honestly the fact that we may never get a third game in The Evil Within franchise is just sad.

Great ideas, gameplay and setting and Microsoft just straight up killed any chance when Tango Gameworks was shut down. Genuinely heartbreaking.

Can someone explain the appeal of Auto-battler style games? I thought the whole appeal of real time strategy was to make the decisions on the fly? Not beforehand.

For reference, I want to play Songs of Silence, but it has auto battler elements.
