I have had an interesting time asking Claude Code to write papers and review papers since I suspect that this tool - and other agentic AIs - will be a major challenge (and opportunity) for political science, and wanted to get a better understanding of this.

Three thoughts:

Today's actions make an already complex international order even more complex. It makes an unpredictable world, even more unpredictable. And jeopardizes international trust and stability in ways we can't yet grasp the extent of. As a result; our world is less safe.

There's zero legal basis for the US to use force against Venezuela, which is a sovereign state. It's as much illegal aggression as Russia invading Ukraine, and unconstitutional violation of war powers as well.
