Alaskaβs race for governor picks up 16th candidate, a former state legislator from Sitka
Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins is the third Democrat to enter the race to replace incumbent Gov. Mike Dunleavy.
While in the Legislature, Kreiss-Tomkins was a member of the bipartisan, bicameral fiscal working group that in 2021 drafted a plan intended to bring the stateβs finances in line over the long term.
