The orange is just where it's drying out. Lion's mane loves water, so don't be afraid of over misting.

That looks about right for how lion's mane grow kits go. You could harvest what you have there and continue to mist daily to probably get another flush.

There are some helpful ID apps and books out there -- some more useful than others. I've personally taken more photos of wild mushrooms than eating them. I also start with a small sample to cook and eat to test my personal tolerance (I have food allergies.) As always, "Don't munch on a hunch."

Connecting with experienced foragers in your area and taking foraging classes / walks is a good way to gain experience on how to ID. Techniques are more than visual ID. There's smell, location, proximity to other flora / trees, season, spore print...."

It's hard for me to say what these are from the photos and the state of decay of the mushroom.

These look like Stubble Rosegill. Does the mushroom have a volva sac base? Sometimes people mistake these for Death Caps which have a ring on the stem and it appears that these mushrooms do not have the Death Cap ring.
