Maybe players should demand cameras in the Tiley boardroom. Or at least livestream the court allocation and scheduling team.

It is heartbreaking knowing the irreplaceable is being strip-mined as a windfall for the tiniest outlay. It’s cultural theft. I’m most grateful for your efforts to show how clearly we need to change to a fairer way. πŸ™

Btw, thanks to you Dr M for the wealth of information and data you have shared. It’s been an absolute eye-opener and I hope more lay people like myself get to see and understand it.

I’m not an idiot, thank you. If the person with the detector cared about our heritage and public access to it, they’d be giving it to the BM not making them desperately fundraise to match a putative auction price. Read the article, learn a little.

Can’t think of another hobby that costs the public millions. Plundering our heritage for personal gain, destroying crucial context and if not sold abroad, lost to us in the back of someone’s drawer. The system needs urgent overhaul.

Since #bbclaurak is trending, let’s remind ourselves that ONE MONTH ago, the BBC invited Mandelson on for a soft-ball interview on her show. While HIS CLIENT , Palantir’s Louis Moseley appeared as a pundit

Both, as I wrote at time, were β€˜abject failures of journalism’

Text from BBC website reads β€œUnlike bed bugs, scabies mites are naked to the human eye, and are not caused by poor hygiene.”

Text from BBC website reads β€œUnlike bed bugs, scabies mites are naked to the human eye, and are not caused by poor hygiene.”

The latest piece of atrocious writing on the BBC website.
Though if scabies mites are naked, I guess bed bugs are fully clothed. β€œIn pyjamas” my partner added

Poor babe, I sympathise. My previous girl Dale would descend into absolute terror. Our present two are both young so I’m not sure how they’ll react. Fingers crossed

The only sell-outs are the players, sacrificing principle for attention and money.

Years back, in the absolute darkest time with my dad’s narcissism, I came across your writing. For the first time, I understood I had choice. And that allowed me to live. My dad disagreed and pursued me in person, online & through others. He’d have loved to weaponise a newspaper.

Thank you Wil πŸ™

Good stretchy wing flap!
But 1400 blurry photos 😱. I sometimes get hundreds of hedgehog cam videos that are completely black apart from a searingly white daffodil leaf waving in front of the lens

BBC showing tennis’s new Battle of the Sexes will just offer up opportunity to belittle women’s sport | Barney Ronay The match between Aryna Sabalenka and Nick Kyrgios opens up a direct channel between the BBC of old and a world of toxic internet hatred It’s always best to take a sceptical view of the constant flow of BBC-bashing newspaper stories, which are often simply bogus outrage expressed for commercial gain. Even the war-on-woke, cod-ideological stuff – Clive Myrie INSISTS hamsters can breastfeed human robots – the bits that make you want to smear your face with greengage jam and weep for England, our England, with its meadows, its shadows, its curates made entirely from beef. Even these come from a hard, transactional place. Basically, it’s the licence fee. The BBC is free at the point of delivery, but paid for by a national levy. The BBC is also a direct commercial competitor to every other form of legacy media, all of which are trying to find ways to survive and recoup revenue. Continue reading...

Yet another example of how we are all having to pay to see our shared heritage.

Just look at the outrageous financial figures and ask where its coming from!
