The true measure of an economy is not how the top 1% is doing, but how the bottom 10% are.

If you missed this last night. Watch it. You will be upset. You will get angry. But you will see that a genocide is being undertaken.

I don’t know whether to call it a lack of vision, or that the vision is β€˜Tory lite’.
Either way, continuing on this path will ensure a Labour loss at the next election.

Well those β€˜work camps’ aren’t going to build themselves or be policed for free 🀬

The Democrats have to hang this around every Republicans neck at midterms and β€˜28. Don’t let any of them wriggle out of it

It’s not just immigrants. The Germans did this in 1933. They removed citizenship from a large swathe of German people because they were now deemed as not German. This then allowed a whole lot of awful laws to follow. The German people had no warning from history. What is the US’ excuse?

Appalling. Record this. Make sure it can be presented in the future as evidence of cruelty and abuse

It needs to be stressed, this is percentage growth.
Show the actual change.
That will freak people out

This is what I don’t understand about fossil fuel advocates - energy security. Green energy is *generally* owned and operated in your own borders. Surely that’s got to be a win.

@ericswalwell.bsky.social urges all Americans to show up for No Kings Day this Saturday.

Netanyahu and Putin are simply ignoring him. They know they can do whatever they like and trump is going to do absolutely nothing.

Democrat Governors need to stand together. You cannot rely on others. You alone have rights and responsibilities that no Federal power can step on.

A nice counterpoint would be to show footage from inside Gaza about what the IDF have done there. But wait, the IDF and Israeli government aren’t allowing it to be documented by journalists 😑

Labour should get rid of FPTP. It does them no favours, but more importantly, it’s more democratic. It probably means more Labour coalitions, but looking at Labour today, it’s a coalition dressed up as a single party.

So, they could reduce the tax cuts to $1Tn and have a Β£200Bn surplus?
Surely that’s got to be better

Leave the Reform voters to the Tories and Reform to fight over. Adding another party to the right crowds out an already crowded space. Move back to centre left and leave those rats to fight it out in a diminishing sack.

I’ve used this argument on sceptics and it’s amazing watching them scramble around for something to say.
