To be fair, the article says hard-core MAGA folk are not going to change, and yard signs are not a great measure of more independent Trump voters.
Still, I keep hoping we get to a point where people are ashamed to have Trump signs on their houses. Guess Iโm a dreamer!
Driving through New Hampshire today, the large number of Trump signs suggests there hasnโt been any movement away from Trump yet.
Leaving a cult is really hard.
โHistory will call them cowards and ask how โNever againโ became โYes, Mr. Trump.โโ
About sums it up.
Honestly, sometimes it all just makes me depressed.
Fighting hopelessness seems like resistance. If only it were enough.
Graff, quoting Louis Fischer: โHe [Hitler] would destroy democracy. Yet democracy tolerated him and helped him take office in order to destroy democracy. This peaceful death of German democracy is one of the strangest chapters in history.โ

Trump is truly brilliant at creating distraction. The headline in the Globe this morning was "Trump Blasts Jobs Report, Fires Official," rather than "Job Numbers Under Trump Much Worse Than Expected." His use of smoke and mirrors works every time.

Outside courthouses across America, complicit judges are dropping years-long immigration cases to aid ICE abductions in their hallways.
There was a time, not long ago, when we asked immigrants to follow the laws of our land. In Trump's America, we're arresting the rule-followers.
Don't look away!
