Iran became a US adversary in the 1970s, and remains one today largely because of what we did in 1953. The 1979 hostage crisis and the Iraq War were two outcomes which directly affected Americans.

The US seems to have been involved in a lot of political shenanigans in the 1950s and 60s - the overthrow of Mossadegh, the murder of Lumumba, the murder of Diem, the attempted murder of Castro. All of those resulted in blowback we're still dealing with.

Just to be clear. You're OK with the President of the US ordering the murder of foreign nationals on boats 1000 miles from our shores simply because he says they are "drug dealers." No trial, no jury, no evidence, no due process. Is that right?
