Cost analysis has many factors. If the foreign steel take three extra months to get and the factory makes millions per month, it may end up "cheaper" on net to take the faster, more expedient steel, getting operational faster.

In a way, yes men are expendable more than women, but it's not something most of us don't willing do. It's a natural reaction built into the psychology of men. My hypothesis is that it stems from the fact that we had to find off attacks while the women are pregnant and more vulnerable, but not 100%.

This argument makes little sense in the context of also arguing that people like Musk pay no taxes. The rich already know how to work the system to massively reduce or eliminate taxes, irrespective of the tax rate. How could any of this affect that so that they pay even less if they are at zero now?

Separation of church and state isn't in the constitution, nor does it mean that politicians cannot exercise their religious freedoms and even influence policy decisions. It simply means that the government cannot compel anyone to support a religion, nor can it establish any religion.

Whereas, Trump saying that he will open the waterways in CA to fight fires is based on the fact that they indeed needed more water, and while his plan was foolish, it at least had the appearance of action. It's also harder to track down the truthfulness over simply watching the video for yourself.

To answer your question more directly, I think that Reps lies aren't as obvious and usually stem from some truths.
