Last message I shared here was 2 months ago about crazy things happening around the inauguration. Seems like it’s going about as predicted. Anyone disagree?

Anything interesting happen today? I mean yesterday Pres. Musk gave a vigorous Hitler salute, twice, the old new old new guy wouldn’t touch a bible, then got a stern talking to from the bishop, which he didn’t find very “exciting”, and then thanked everyone but his wife, Carmen San Diego Hamburgler.

I saw some dumb kids flying a Trump flag from their car today here in Utah and thought about how little they know about what this could mean for them. It’s a new gilded age and the young are and will continue paying for it.

Watching 22 kids play a game they love in a warm place, reading about the foreign guy who bought a president who doesn’t like foreigners who’s now pushing back on his leash holder via hate-fueled surrogates, & hearing Bangles’ Hazy Shade of Winter is a nice way to spend a cold wet December day.

Good information: Government wastes, yes. But not at the scale nor in the ways most, including those posing for cameras and social media assume.

Outdoors lovers, don’t blink. This cynical campaign doesn’t end well. If you like wild spaces, wildlife, and unspoiled vistas, you know, the West, well don’t be fooled.
