Towards the Isles - Kilmory Beach, Kilmory, #Ardnamurchan

A sunset shot taken on the rocks of Kilmory Beach at high tide, when the water in this channel drew my eye toward the Small Isles, just visible through the haze and clouds on the distant horizon.

Summer Sunburst II - Sailean Dubh, Ardtoe, #Ardnamurchan

Following on from Wednesday's image of a July sunset Ardtoe. Here is another one taken a few years later when the sun was bursting through the distant haze as it made its way to set behind the Isle of Eigg. That place never loses its magic.

Golden Eigg I - Sailean Dubh, Ardtoe, #Ardnamurchan

One of the first ever July sunsets I saw at Ardtoe after moving here and Iโ€™ve been hooked on them ever since. There is something very special about seeing the Small Isles of Eigg and Rรนm silhouetted against a golden sky. A beautiful sight indeed.

Persistence II - Sanna Bay, Sanna, #Ardnamurchan

Cloud rolls in over Sanna Bay from the North but a small gap in the clouds persists on the western horizon and lets through some golden light to colour the water and sand on the shoreline.
