Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.

Sure, you can dig back four decades and extrapolate Musk's views from his apartheid-loving Nazi grandparents, or you could remember that time some guy tweeted that Jews were replacing the white race and Musk himself replied "you have said the actual truth" because that was 14 months ago.
