It’ll be at the Waterfront Museum, it’s a museum on a barge that does a lot of theater. I have seen multiple pirate plays there over the years, and yes, looks like there’s another one waterfrontmuseum.org

They did too much breaking up the songs with dialogue (especially Defying Gravity). Even Dancing Through Life, which had dialogue bits in the original, was catchier when it didn’t have whole scenes in the middle

Sent my husband out last night to get eggs (we rarely buy eggs in general) and he came back and told me they were totally reasonably priced! And what the price was…

And that’s how I learned that this current crisis is actually “the rest of the country has to pay what NYC pays for groceries.”

What do you do when your world is ending? Shout, cry, sulk in bed for weeks on end. Deny all responsibility for how things got the way they are. Narrow your worldview. Forget how good it used to be. Imagine the new now. Smile a little, then give a chuckle or two. Come out of hiding and give the new world a try. Give bland platitudes when friends ask you how you’ve been. Feign confusion when they ask what you’re going to do. Suppress all whispers. Tell grandiose, unrelated stories. Cope. It’s fine if you’ve been dumped. But what about when the world dumps you? How can anyone talk to you about how to get things done then?
