This is the largest number of cases in the most states we have ever handled at one time. And, while Big Law firms mostly sit idly by, the need to protect elections in court is only growing.

I've slept a bit on this other than a few posts, but one of the most brazen things happening in state governments right now is that the Kentucky GOP is trying to impeach a liberal justice (and the first/only Black woman to join the court) because of a vote she took last year they don't like.

My q: when does free speech start to infringe on one person one vote? If $$$ translates directly into influence on the electorate, how do we reconcile this with fairness?
Wouldn't changes to CU just impact reach, as opposed to speech?

They don't have a blue check, so this may be part of a Twitter/X shakedown, or it could be due to laziness/inattention from OnTrac, as OnTrac still links to this profile from their corporate page.
Hmm.... their last post on Facebook is from July 4, 2024. Clearly, they're anti-social media. π€
Screenshot of OnTrac Shipping's Twitter Profile page, which says "Caution: This account is temporarily restricted. You're seeing this warning because there has been some unusual activity from this account. Do you still want to view it?" and has a button labeled "Yes, view profile" to click if you want to see more. Of note, @OnTrac_Shipping does *not* have a Twitter/X blue check, so maybe they just haven't paid a fee to Twitter/X. Ironically, this possibly reflects well on OnTrac for standing up to Twitter/X. My bet is that this is the result of OnTrac's neglect.
I broke down & returned to the cesspool to make sure OnTrac actually received my note. Their last post on Twitter/X was in August, 2024, and their account is marked as "temporarily restricted."

OnTrac isn't here, but I am, so here I flame.
OnTrac, your drivers don't ring the doorbell when they make a delivery. How lazy do you have to be to walk all the way up to a door & then NOT ring the doorbell?

Good example of why I respectfully disagree with those who think bodycams are useless or actively harmful. In the last 13 months we have repeatedly seen bodycam footage refute ICE/CBP officers' flagrant lies, sometimes even exonerating protesters falsely accused of assault. slate.com/news-and-pol...

I mean, it's a bit tawdry, but it doesn't seem the same as what the R's complained about wrongly.
