I think that is largely the intent behind such moves. Radicalize the opposition, then use it as an excuse to institute greater authoritarianism. Rinse, repeat.

My impression is that it's around 30% in Boston. We have a lot of hills, but the city is compact, so distances aren't much of a factor. We also have long had a fairly large number of bike commuters, and most of us have stuck with our analogs.

When you say state equivalents, what do you mean? States administer Medicaid, but it is still a federal program, for example. But for your point to be valid at all, you'd have to argue that Medicaid+Medicare>Medicaid+Medicare+ACA. I'd be really entertained to see somebody try to argue that.

These are calls for mass political violence, against all Democrats. They openly call for the bombing of "Democrat" cities and for the jailing or killing of Democratic politicians. They are from some of the most influential voices in right-wing politics. Will anyone say anything?
