This is my neighborhood and my alderperson smiling. Semi-organized crews go out after every storm and it is just loveliest thing.

Went out for round 2 of shoveling my car and was rapidly joined by random neighbors. Together we made quick work of it and went on to finish 3 more big piles. Each of us called it quits at various times then said “OK, just onnne more…” when we saw the others still going. Thanks, Katie and Scales!

Local zoning is the way! A lot of these are being stopped or stalled by neighborhood organizing.

These warehouses often need to be purchased, permitted, approved for occupancy and specs. Each one of those steps can be interrupted.

Meanwhile, the anti-trans side is the one that's arguing that if someone is a trans girl, she should be fully banned from participating in girls sports even if we're talking about 11-year-olds playing soccer. That's the side that's lacking nuance here, Gav.
