In case it’s not clear: the Democrats ARE the Conservative Party. They are pro-capitalism, pro-military, pro-Israel, and are devoted to maintaining the status quo. They are not interested in fighting to change things for the better.

I had a cis woman friend who seemed like an incredible supporter of my transness. However, I haven’t heard a peep from her since January. Her social media, which used to be filled with supportive posts, has been silent. I don’t think it’s a coincidence she works for the military 😠

I’ve been away for a while, mostly due to mental health. Stepping away did help for a bit, but I’m back because i need a place to vent. I’m past being depressed and am mostly angry at this point. I am actively watching cis “allies” abandon trans people just as we are in the most danger.

And then they have the gall to ask “what can be done?” Hey assholes - you can do something! That’s your whole fucking job. Start calling them out on their lies as you sit in on press conferences. Pay reporters to investigate and hound them. Air all their dirty laundry.

The legacy media is fucking pointless these days. Every headline I see is some variation on how “we could be heading towards a constitutional crisis”. Dumbasses: we have been in a crisis for years. The constitution is a meaningless sheet of paper to show tourists at this point.
