I miss listening to the insects, and the dead summer heat, and that suffocating feeling that made me want to puke

I remember walking around at night, during the winters back when my paranoia was worse. There's still nothing that can match the transcendent peace I felt back then. Even as my mind tore itself apart I felt I could glimpse an unknowable truth. It was euphoric in the most horrifying way.

Rotting places are nice. I can feel glass crunch under my foot whenever I test the floorboards for stability. Everything inside feels more still than it ought to. The absence of all sound and movement makes me uneasy, it's a beautiful feeling

idk why using one hashtag feels like such a moral compromise for me, I need to get over myself. It feels similar to how I refused to ever take any medicine for anything as a kid, even for fevers or migraines, cause I thought it'd poison my soul somehow. even now I still feel resistant to taking them
