The no-sleep-muscle-pain sucks, but at least insomnia came with company and a movie. Now and Then was really sweet and sad. I'm glad I watched it.

Just the cutest lil day-glow yellow backed long-toed salamander in some bark and rocks and stuff.

There are horrors aplenty in this world, but there is also this long-toed salamander I exposed when attempting to reroute a downspout. I'd never seen one before, their skin shimmers like gold leaf. Downspout job will be revisited when the space is salamanderless.

Chlora, a young calico kitten, lays on the top of a squished down fluffy cave bed, looking innocently off to one side. You can just see the white paws and little disgruntled face of her brother Phyll who was trying to nap inside the cave bed.
