It's got some interesting tracks on it. There's one stringed instrument that utilizes the player's mouth to modulate the tone, not unlike Peter Frampton's VoxBox.

Those recordings were definitely real (I'd heard them sampled by Negativland and Steve Fisk prior to that) and really weird, so they have at least one legit recording of cult music. All that said, this one is really quite boring. It's going into the sell pile.

I honestly don't really know for sure. The same label released an LP previous to this one called the Sounds of North American Cults which featured recordings of Elizabeth Clare Prophet and the Church Universal and Triumphant.
