Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

This is a direct result of systemic racism. Prevention vs maintenance (aka foster care) is still not prioritized in keeping our families together. Poverty remains the primary risk factor for child removal. We need to flip the funding model to support and lift families out of poverty.
