City of Charlotte Launches New Accessory Dwelling Units Program The City of Charlotte Housing & Neighborhood Services Department is making it easier for property owners to add accessory dwelling units (ADUs) on their property with the new Queen City ADU Program.

This is a cool idea. City of Charlotte offering up to $80k in forgivable loans to build accessory units. Interest free financing, forgiven at $10k per year over eight years if you rent it affordably.
