Have you ever thought about inflating tissues?
Or maybe quickly deflating those inflated tissues?

What do we see when looking at cells under the microscope? πSome are bigger than others, some are elongated and align with the neighbors & others seem to move. Cool, right? But wouldn't it be cooler to quantify these observations?
I'm @juliaeckert.bsky.social. Let's explore some analysis software!β¬

How do hydraulic forces impact critical processes such as tissue integrity, cell fate decisions, and embryo development?
Hydraulics studies how fluids move and exert forces.
Join me in exploring few articles on hydraulics in #EpithelialMechanics

Tissues are dynamic and investigating cellular mechanical states can be crucial for understanding biological processes. But how to do it?
We are @andreasschoenit.bsky.social and @luanger.bsky.social from @bladoux.bsky.social / @rmmege.bsky.social lab highlighting ways to assess tissue stresses.
