The U.S. is preparing for the largest protest against Trump — the “No Kings” movement will span over 1,800 cities across all 50 states and even beyond the country.
The rallies coincide with a military parade in Washington, which Trump is organizing for his birthday on Saturday, June 14.
More folksy, but equally inspiring:

I don't like "resist" because it omits the outcome. I want to defend our essential liberties and storied mode of government, and help to remind people what it means to be a responsible citizen. Some of those who voted a traitor into our nation's highest executive office aren't beyond help.
08.06.2025 08:30 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0The most striking thing about the LA protests is how many people just dropped everything to show up and yell at federal agents. There are people in suits, and carrying dogs, and wearing flip flops or bike helmets.
These are not people who planned to do this today. But there they are.
The Euromaidan protests in Kyiv started small but diverse too. A very heartwarming video from 2013 - and heartrending too, given what these people have been made to endure by Muscovy and the Kremlin crime syndicate.

It's a cool card, and Ukrainians would have none of that.

Well, CBO's 2018 and 2019 revenue estimates - which included the previous year's TCJA - were ... 99.5% accurate. 🧵
Call them trumpiffs.
On everyone in America, for everything from everywhere else all at once. So much thinning of your wallet. Truly MAdumb.
Fun fact: AG Pam Bondi, who approved Trump’s $400M jet gift from Qatar, was a paid lobbyist for Qatar, earning $115K a month.

Completely agree with @billybinion.bsky.social that it is an embarrassment that so many members of Congress appear to know so little about (or are happy to willfully distort) the foundations of our constitution.
Pirro is the 23rd former Fox employee Trump has named to his administration.
She's wildly unqualified to be DC's top prosecutor and was been described by her former executive producer as a "reckless lunatic."
Gonna thread some of her lowlights.
The week after Trump's election, I wrote my school a plan for what to do if ICE raided us. I was told that "they aren't allowed to do that." And now look where we are. I hope someone dusts off my plan soon!

I think something that needs to be on the agenda once sanity is restored to the US government is 1) kill qualified immunity and 2) criminal penalties for federal agents or officials who grossly violate rights.
Someone who does this should legitimately fear it will put them in prison.
A very old Soviet joke, from an especially dark time:
Foxes are fleeing the USSR in droves.
Q: Why are you running away?
Fox: The Soviets passed a new law that they’re going to arrest all camels.
Q: But you’re foxes!
Fox: Yeah, why don’t *you* try proving to the NKVD that you’re not a camel.
NEW: A federal prosecutor in Los Angeles was fired Friday at the behest of the White House, after lawyers for a fast-food executive he was prosecuting pushed officials in Washington to drop all charges against him

It's not about Greenland at all, or the now-historic USA that derived its legitimacy from a working civil society, capable of holding government to account.
It's all about traitor Trump's endlessly pathetic need to abuse people, institutions, and nations. Unchecked by his spineless lickspittles.

The salient facts, pared down to their simplest expression. Of equal import, the US for years could boast of the best growth among almost all developed countries, a very low tax-to-GDP rate in comparison, and the US Dollar's so-called exorbitant privilege - now threatened by traitor Trump.
